Another trio ready for Elitkampen 2024

The Swedish champion will be joined by debutants from Finland and Norway. Järvsöodin, Issakan Valo and Stumne Fyr have been invited to Solvalla and Elitkampen 2024.

Seven horses are now ready for this year's edition of Elitkampen. Tangen Bork (Norway), Månlykke A.M. (Sweden) and Evartti (Finland) have already been invited. Grislefaksen G.L. (Norway) won Vårbjörken at Umåkers trotting track last weekend and got a direct place to Solvalla and is thus also ready for the race.

Järvsöodin

Järvsöodin started by winning ten of the first twelve races of his career, but it is in recent years that he has taken the biggest step in his development and shown that he is a horse for the absolute highest elite. At the end of August 2023, he won the Swedish Championship with SEK 250,000 in first prize, which is the biggest victory of his career. Unplaced in his first start in the Elitkampen last year - now he comes back to take revenge in front of the Elitlopp crowd.

Issakan Valo

Issakan Valo has won 39 of his career starts and now the Finnish nine-year-old is visiting Solvalla and the Elitlopp weekend for the very first time. However, trainer Antti Tupamäki has Elitkamp experience and won the race in 2017 with Polara. Issakan Valo won the Erkon Pokaali at Vermo Racecourse in his last start, which is the biggest win of his career, and there he also defeated already invited Evartti.

Stumne Fyr had his best racing season in 2023 when he won ten races and earned over SEK 1.1 million. The biggest victory of his career came when he won Unionskampen 2023 at Färjestadstravet. Four victories have been achieved in the year's seven starts for Merete Vikså's eye-catcher, who most recently won Bollnästravet's Elitsprint. Now Stumne Fyr makes his first start in Elitkampen.
