A favorite in reruns.
But Double Deceiver had to show his colors when he, together with Örjan Kihlström, tracked the Sweden Cup from start to finish.
And he won in the fastest final time in the Sweden Cup ever; 1.08,8a/1.640 meters.

Daniel Redén's star horse passed the 12 million SEK mark earned by winning the Sweden Cup.
- It was like the hair stood up on my arms. "Double Deceiver was really nice today," said Örjan Kihlström.

Double Deceiver was drawn to the inside lane in his trial, and was allowed to choose the lane first of the trial winners. And from the lead, the horse was unchallenged.
- I'm not sure if it was an appetizer for tomorrow. Double Deceiver might actually belong in Elitloppet, but I thought I had two that were better suited this year in Elitloppet," said trainer Daniel Redén, who scored his third straight Sweden Cup victory; Missle Hill won in 2024.

Double Deceiver did not look empty at the finish. Crowne and Dexter Dunn sprinted in second, and third was Working Class Hero and Antonio di Nardo. The first prize in the Sweden Cup was SEK 600,000.

Touched Goop topped in Harpers
There was also a Solvalla victory in the million-dollar race Harper Hanovers by Gaining Experience. Timo Nurmo's five-year-old broke through in the Derby qualifiers last year, but throughout his career he has shown extraordinary capacity. And in the Harper Hanovers race he had a magical performance together with Björn Goop.

Goop was allowed to decide as he wanted in the leading position and in the final turn Gaining Experience disappeared from its competitors. Already 150 meters before the finish, Björn Goop let go of one of the reins and began to celebrate with a slightly ecstatic audience.

- I am touched by all the audience. Thank you all who are here! Then it is Gaining Experience I should thank the most. It's an honor to drive a horse like this. It's the longest victory gesture I've made in my career," said Björn Goop, who has won over 8,000 races!

Gaining Experience won in 1.12,4/3.140 meters and the first prize was one million SEK. Third was the Timo Nurmos-trained Erik The Phantom, in between Baron Tilly took the silver.
