Borups Victory is ready for Elitloppet on May 26.

At Umåkers trotting track, the classic Guldbjörken was decided and this year it was an easy victory for the favorite Borups Victory. The winning time was written to 1.11,7 over 2140 meters with autostart and after the race a pink ticket was delivered by Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot - which means that Borups Victory is now horse number eleven in Elitloppet 2024.
Borups Victory, co-owned by hockey star Mats Sundin and others, raised over SEK 2.3 million in 2023, winning four STL races and finishing second in both the Group I Margareta Wallenius-Klebergs Pokal and Sundsvall Open Trot.
The biggest victory of his career came at the end of April when he won the Seinäjoki Race 2024 and now it will be the first time in Elitloppet for both trainer Daniel Wäjersten and Borups Victory.

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 24-26, 2024. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial meet in a final where the winner receives five million SEK.
