- She is one of the best mares in the world and has shown a hardness and speed that few horses possess. I think she will fit perfectly in the Elitloppet," says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.
Joviality started her amazing career in the US with Marcus M Melander where she racked up victories and won several million races, including wins in the Yonkers Trot and Breeders Crown.
2023 was the first time we saw her in Sweden and she started with victory in both the trials and the final of the classic trotting race Drottning Silvias Pokal. Before the season was over, she had also beaten the boys - and taken home the biggest triumph of her career - by sprinting home the Swedish Trotting Derby in fine style, which was rewarded with four million kronor. Trainer Sabine Kagebrant also made history as the first female trainer to win the big race.
The winter has been spent in France where she claimed the third prize behind the already Elitlopp invited Idao de Tillard in the Prix d'Amerique. On Saturday in V75 Direkt in TV4, Sports Director Anders Malmrot revealed that Jovialty is the third horse to receive a pink ticket for this year's edition and she will be in the Elitloppet for the first time.
- As a Solvalla trainer, it's a dream come true. Elitloppet has always been the biggest event of the year for me and now I have a horse competing at that level, which feels absolutely fantastic," says Sabine Kagebrant.

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 24-26, 2024. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial meet in a final where the winner receives five million SEK.
