Night Brodde is coming to Solvalla and Elitloppet in 2022.
- With his performances during the spring, he has become a hot name in the Elitlopps discussion and took a landslide victory in the vote, says Solvalla's sports director Anders Malmrot.
The final place for this year's edition of Elitloppet was this year a vote between three horses where the candidates who made up were Calle Crown, Night Brodde and Stoletheshow. The interest in voting was great and a total of 51,627 votes were received from Saturday evening until Sunday morning. When these were counted, it was clear that Night Brodde trained by Conrad Lugauer takes the last place after receiving 79 percent of the votes.
He won Elitsprintern at Solvalla during the Elitlopp weekend last year in a record time of 1.09,5 over the sprint distance, which is the biggest victory of his career so far for Night Brodde. He comes from a third place in the final of the Paralympic race at Åby and now it will be his debut in Elitloppet - thus all sixteen participants are also ready for Elitloppet 2022.

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 27-29, 2022. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial meet in a final where the winner receives five million SEK.
