After a dazzling debut this year, horse number five is ready for the last Sunday in May.
Danske Extreme is coming to Solvalla and Elitloppet in 2022.
- He has proven to be a complete horse with starting speed, strength and speed, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.
The Danish E-litter has long been talked about as it contains several very good horses. Steen Juul-trained Extreme is one of them, and both in Sweden and at home we have been charmed by the beautiful stallion. The biggest victory of his career came at the end of August 2020 when he won the final of the Danish Trotting Derby with DKK 573,000 in first prize - a season where he won six out of eleven starts and where he also won the Jydsk 4-year-old Grand Prix.
However, Extreme's best season in terms of money is from last year, where we got to see him visit Sweden much more often and he was noted for two of the biggest victories of his career on Swedish soil in 2021.
In the European Championship for five-year-old horses at Åbytravet, he won ahead of Don Fanucci Zet (who won Elitloppet last year), who had already been invited to Elitlopp, and at the end of October he took another fine triumph when he won the C.L. Müllers Memorial for the highest class at Jägersro - these two wins alone brought in SEK 900,000 during last year's season.
Last Thursday at Åbytravet we got to see him make his first start this year where he from the lead easily left his competitors over the run-up and won by far. Six-year-old Extreme showed that he is ready for another racing season and now the biggest task of his career so far awaits.
In Saturday's V75 Direkt on TV4, sports director Anders Malmrot announced that Extreme is the fifth horse to receive a pink ticket for Elitloppet 2022 at Solvalla.
- He is Denmark's best horse who showed his high capacity against the elite already last year and he looked brilliant in his debut this year, says Anders Malmrot.

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 27-29, 2022. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial meet in a final where the winner receives five million SEK.
