This year's season has already brought in over one million SEK in prize money - now there will be a second attempt in Elitloppet. Disco Volante is ready for the last Sunday in May.
- This winter and spring, he has won five races in the Gold Division and has been the best in Sweden," says Solvalla's sports director Anders Malmrot.
Disco Volante won right away in his racing debut as a three-year-old and has since steadily developed into a victorious horse that has gone straight up to the elite. 25 victories in 61 starts have been achieved so far with over four million SEK in the account.
Disco Volante finished unplaced in the Elitloppet last year but has continued to develop all the time and 2020 has been a good year with a series of victories. He boasts six wins in eight starts and before his last start, when he unfortunately galloped in the Paralympic final, he had four straight wins. The seven-year-old now gets a chance for revenge in Elitloppet 2020 at Solvalla.
- This year he has been both tougher and better than last year and is also very explosive behind the starting car, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.

About Elitloppet
Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 29-31, 2020. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial meet in a final where the winner receives three million SEK.
Invited horses for Elitloppet 2020: Vivid Wise As (Italy), Elian Web (Finland), Chief Orlando (Finland), Attraversiamo (Sweden), Tae Kwon Deo (Sweden), Missle Hill (Sweden), Looking Superb (Norway), Makethemark (Sweden), Cokstile (Italy), Sorbet (Sweden), Earl Simon (Sweden), Racing Mange (Sweden), Propulsion (Sweden), Milliondollarrhyme (Sweden), Disco Volante (Sweden).
This year, the Elitlopp weekend will be organized without spectators. The spread of the new coronavirus has led to laws, regulations and directives that have resulted in Solvalla and other Swedish trotting tracks completely closing down their spectator facilities since March 12. In addition to this, a number of restrictions have been introduced around the stables. The racecourses are today a strict workplace where only people who perform a job have access.
