The seven golden rules of Elitloppet

Most people know exactly what a Elitlopp weekend is about. Others don't. Here are some practical tips that you might want to know.

1. leave your car at home.
Taking the car to Solvalla during the Elitlopp weekend is not recommended. The parking lot outside Solvalla is not very large, so leave your car at home if you can. If you have to take the car, parking costs SEK 100, swish or cash payment applies.
2. Pre-purchase your ticket online
By pre-purchasing your ticket online, you will get through the entrance faster and avoid unnecessary queuing. If you're going all weekend, you'll also save SEK 200 on the weekend ticket, which can only be purchased online. Buy the weekend ticket here!
3. bring cash.
There may be queues for ATMs and withdrawals at Solvalla during the Elitlopp weekend, so please make sure you bring cash.
4. Don't forget the sunscreen
The weather is always an important factor when it comes to Elitloppet. Come prepared - this year it looks like sunscreen and a hat are in order!
5. respect tradition.
Elitloppet is, and always has been, a people's party. Unlike some other events of the same size, there is virtually no violence. So please be considerate to everyone, so that the atmosphere that has made Elitloppet famous all over the world can live on. And hey - if you don't want to be part of the run-in, come after the entrances have opened. Before then, it looks like the picture. Read the timetables for the days Here.
6. put your money on the trotting program.
Invest in Solvalla's course program on site, where you will find most of what you need to know about the Elitlopps weekend. With full control of start times and start lists for all races, previous years' winners and various events in the arena area, it will be easier to orient yourself. Trotting program is available for purchase at the arena or to download as a pdf at the web here!
7. prepare for a search.
Ease long queues at the entrance by opening your bags at the entrance. This will make entry smoother and don't forget that there is zero tolerance for bringing in alcohol.
