He has delighted the Solvalla crowd with a world record - Now it will be the debut in Elitloppet. San Moteur is the first horse to receive a pink ticket for this year's edition.
- We are very happy for the invitation where the goal has long been Elitloppet 2023 and that the horse should be at its best then. San Moteur feels great in training and now we are loading for the last Sunday in May and hope that many trotting fans will also come, says Björn Goop.
His career started with five straight victories where San Moteur completed his fence in the result line by winning one of the trials to the Swedish Trotting Criterium as a three-year-old. In the final, he finished second behind Brambling, which brought in two million kronor. As a four-year-old, he won Prix Readly Express in June and later participated in new vintage finals where he finished third behind Calgary Games in the Swedish Trotting Derby.
San Moteur has always belonged to the top of the litter and his best season came last year as a five-year-old when he ran in over 2.7 million. Among other things, he won the Duke of Värmland, Prince Carl Philip's Jubilee Cup, over a short distance at home, where the winning time was 1.09.4 over 1640 meters, which was a new course record at Färjestadstravet.
In mid-August came the biggest triumph of his career when San Moteur won the Jubileumspokalen at Solvalla with SEK 1.5 million in first prize. After being driven to the outside leader, he disappeared from his opponents and won by far in a world record time of 1.09,7 over medium distance.
Now San Moteur can look forward to another visit to Solvalla as he is the very first horse to receive a pink invitation ticket to the Elitloppet in 2023.

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 26-28, 2023. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial meet in a final where the winner receives five million SEK.
