Finnish Massimo Hoist will not start in Elitloppet.
- The horse has problems with its values and the trainer Jukka Hakkarainen announced after sampling today that Elitloppet comes too early for them, says Solvalla's sports manager Ola Lernå.
Massimo Hoist received an early invitation in the Elitloppet, but has not performed at his best in his last two starts.
- It is the horse's iron value that is not at the right level and we do not want to risk going to Solvalla at the moment," says Jukka Hakkarainen.
A new horse to replace Massimo Hoist is not ready.
- We have a few days left to put together this year's Elitlopp field. With Massimo Hoist's withdrawal, there are four places left. Two of them will most likely come via the E-race and in addition, two horses will be invited, says Solvalla's sports manager Ola Lernå.
