A new voice will be heard at Solvalla during the Elitlopp weekend.
But it will also be recognized.
Kjell-Erik Kristiansen speaks eight languages. Fortunately for the Norwegian, Swedish is one of them.
Kjell-Erik Kristiansen has invaluable experience. He has been an announcer at eight Olympic Games, 50 World Championships and around 1,000 World Cup events in 20 different countries. He has been called ”the world's best announcer” and Swedish Radio said he has ”the most famous voice in the ski world”.
His journalistic skills are multi-faceted and during Elitloppet he holds the title of Arena Producer.
- This will be so much fun. It's trotting's Christmas Eve and I hope we can make the experience even better for everyone who comes to Solvalla. It is rare that I am as motivated for a job as I am for Elitloppet, says Kjell-Erik Kristiansen.
He is joined by producer Erik Marthinsen and audience reporters Maria Danielsson and Robin Bryntesson. Visitors to Solvalla will also recognize both the reporter and the announcer; Mattias Spante and Anders Fredriksson. As usual, Peter Henriksson and Paula Ahlström are also in the winner's circle.
- We have a very competent team and the excitement is so intense in trotting where the proximity to the audience is unique, says Kjell-Erik Kristiansen.
