But the road to Elitloppet 2026 will be more varied - as Solvalla 2026 introduces the E-race!
The E-races are seven qualifying races with points calculation where the top two in the series get a pink ticket to Elitloppet on May 31.
- It is, of course, a pun on the Frenchman's B race. But it is no game to get to Elitloppet and we want to keep the dream alive. Through this you can qualify for Elitloppet on your own, says Solvalla's sports director Ola Lernå.
The first E-race will be the C Th Ericssons Memorial at Solvalla on March 28, which will then be followed by The Onions and Nuncios Lopp at Solvalla in April. Then the focus will turn to Åby and the Paralympic Race on May 3 before the series continues with the Meadow Roads Race at Solvalla, the Gold Trial on the mile course in Tingsryd the following days and ends with Prince Daniel's Race in Gävle on May 23.
- Should a horse be invited that is top-two in terms of points in the E-race, the next horse will be moved up. There are two horses that will be placed in the Elitloppet via the E-race, clarifies Ola Lernå.
The winner of Finlandia Ajo on May 17 at Vermo will still receive a pink ticket, the other 13 horses in the Elitloppet are invited by Solvalla.

Points are awarded to the top six horses on a scale of 15-8-6-3-2-1. In case of equal points, the number of starts in the races decides. In the event of an equal number of starts, a draw will be made.
