Shared second place in 2023. Unlucky gallop in 2024. But this year was third time lucky for Go On Boy in the Elitloppet. He was unstoppable over the Solvalla home stretch when he sprinted to victory in 1:08,4a/1,609 meters for his trainer Romain Derieux.

For Frenchman Romain Derieux it was the second win in Elitloppet, in 2019 he won with Dijon. And for the fourth consecutive year, it was Marseljäsen that was played at Solvalla.

After the trials, the Swedish camp was cheerful after Mellby Jinx and Don Fanucci Zet each won one. In the final, they wasted their energy against each other, inviting Go On Boy into the match. Roman Derieux bided his time in the third pair on the outside and was also offered an attacking back through the final turn.
- He did a magnificent performance and the feeling is incredible. I also have my son and my wife here today, which makes it even more special. Elitloppet at Solvalla is a fantastic experience to participate in, winning is hard to describe," said Romain Derieux.

Don Fanucci Zet, Elitlopp winner in 2022, was responsible for a top race and finished second despite the tough start, while third place was taken by Hohneck, Elitlopp winner in 2023. Fourth after a good finish was amateur trained A Fair Day with Oscar Ginman.
The first prize in the Elitloppet was five million kronor and the nine-year-old stallion Go On Boy is approaching 30 million in total earnings.
