It will be more French behind the starting car on the last Sunday in May.
Hussard du Landret takes place number fourteen to Elitloppet 2025.
- A real tank who is one of France's strongest horses and now it's time to try over sprint distance on Swedish soil. It will be great to see him at Solvalla, says Elitloppet Manager Anders Malmrot.

The French eight-year-old has competed in the toughest possible competition in recent years and now he is coming to Sweden for the first time. Hussard du Landret has exceeded one million euros in prize money and has been on the starting line in the Prix d'Amerique for the last three years.

As a five-year-old he won the Criterium des 5 ans and the biggest victory of his career was in last year's edition of the Prix de Paris with 180,000 euros to the winner.

Benoît Robin makes the trip from France for the first time with his star horse, forming a French quartet in this year's Elitloppet. France has won the last three years with Etonnant, Hohneck and Horsy Dream.

- We are lucky to have such a champion taking us to Sweden. It feels fantastic to be part of Elitloppet! I was there a few years ago at Solvalla and it was extraordinary, a fantastic atmosphere. To now experience it together with our horse and family will be very special, says owner and trainer Benoît Robin.

Two places now remain for Elitloppet 2025. The track draw for the two Elitloppet trials will take place on TV12 at 17:30 on Sunday.
