Bathing sauna at Elitloppet

Timo is coming. Jorma is coming. Kaj is coming too, by the way.
Widell, that is. And they all have the opportunity to just go to the sauna during Elitloppet!

One of the most exotic features of Elitloppet can be found in the audience area both Saturday and Sunday - a fully equipped sauna, open to the most bathing-hungry of Solvalla visitors.
- The best of both worlds, Elitloppet and sauna," says Solvalla's eleven-time coaching champion Timo Nurmos.

The pink-screwed sauna will be in the festival area during the Elitlopp weekend.
- The best temperature for a sauna is 70 degrees, no warmer than that. However, there should be a lot of moisture and you have to pour water all the time," says experienced sauna bather Timo Nurmos, whose horse Mellby Knekt has been invited to Elitloppet.
- I will therefore not be able to take a sauna myself during Elitloppet, but it is a real treat. A "real" sauna lasts three or four hours. But you don't sit in the sauna all the time, you go out, get some fresh air, maybe a beer and chat with your friends," says Timo Nurmos.

Gränges Lättöls Elitlopp sauna can accommodate 20 people and of course towels, swim trunks or swimsuits are available on site, along with birch chips, a rod and a bucket to further enhance the experience!
