Don Fanucci Zet is the tenth horse ready for this year's edition of Elitloppet.
- It's great that former Elitloppet winner Don Fanucci Zet is in such good shape and it will be great to see what he can do this year, says Anders Malmrot.

Don Fanucci Zet won the Elitloppet in 2021 as he sprinted past all competitors after a whirlwind finish, and Wednesday's victory means he will now compete in the world's biggest sprint race for the fifth time in his career.

He fulfilled the big favorite in the Elitloppet qualifier, Meadow Roads race, on Wednesday evening at Solvalla and easily took home the win and secured a direct place to Elitloppet.

From the lead, Don Fanucci Zet won in a time of 1.09,8 over 1640 meters with autostart.
- He feels fantastic, said driver Örjan Kihlström after the race, he can not feel better than he does now.

The nine-year-old stallion is closing in on seventeen million kronor earned so far in his career. In addition to the Elitloppet success in 2021, which is the biggest win of his career, he has taken three more Group I wins: SprinterMästaren 2020, Norrbottens Stora Pris 2022 and Hugo Åbergs Memorial 2022.

Don Fanucci Zet is trainer Daniel Redén's second horse in this year's Elitloppet, Francesco Zet has already been invited. There are now six places left for Elitloppet 2025.
