Immediately afterwards, trainer Daniel Wäjersten received the pink ticket from Solvalla's Elitloppet manager Anders Malmrot.

After taking the biggest win of his career in the Seinäjoki Race 2024 and later winning the Golden Birch at Umåker Racecourse, he was invited to last year's Elitloppet - a debut in the world's biggest sprint race that ended in success. Borups Victory sprinted to fourth place in the trial and then he followed up that effort with a fantastic performance in the final where he finished second behind Horsy Dream - who won Elitloppet 2024 in the new European record 1.08,0 over 1609 meters with autostart.
Borups Victory then continued with wins in the million-dollar races Kymi Grand Prix and Hugo Åbergs Memorial - the latter is the biggest triumph of his career so far, and before the season was over he had collected a total of almost seven million kronor.
During Saturday's Horse Gala, which this year was organized at the Quality Hotel Strawberry Arena in Solna, the news came that the third horse is now ready for Elitloppet 2025. Solvalla's Anders Malmrot was present at the Horse Gala and handed out the pink ticket to the circle around Borups Victory - who is the first Swedish participant to be ready for this year's edition.
Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 23-25, 2025. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial will meet in a final where the winner will receive five million SEK.
