He comes to Solvalla for the third time.
Go On Boy is the first horse to be ready for the last Sunday in May.
- He is a fantastic horse who, after his fine winter meeting, will once again be an attraction in Elitloppet. Romain Derieux won in 2019 with Dijon and is very eager to do the same with Go On Boy, says Anders Malmrot.
Go On Boy was second in the Elitloppet 2023 and qualified for the final also last year - but there he galloped in the final bend and was disqualified. In the fall he won the UET Elite Circuit Final at Vincennes racecourse outside Paris, which is the biggest triumph of his career so far. He has since had a brilliant winter meeting with victory in the Prix de France and a third place in the Prix d'Amerique.
The pink ticket means we will see him for the third time at Solvalla and trainer Romain Derieux now has the chance for another victory in the world's biggest sprint race.
- "I am honored to have been invited back to Elitloppet. Go on Boy feels even stronger this year so I'm really looking forward to racing him in front of the Solvalla crowd," says trainer Romain Derieux.
