The 2023 Sweden Cup winner is ready for Elitloppet.
Bengurion Jet takes its place in this year's star-studded field.

Bengurion Jet has been a talking point since he visited Sweden for the first time as a four-year-old and won Prix Cagnes-sur-Mer at Jägersro in 2021 - which he did in a new Swedish record for foreign stallions / geldings in a time of 1.08,8 over sprint distance. Since then he has competed in the highest Elite both in Sweden and abroad and is probably best known from the final victory of the Sweden Cup, also called Lilla Elitloppet, after a powerful finish last year.
In total he earned over 3.6 million SEK in 2023, where he was also second in Åbys Stora Pris at Åbytravet and third in the World Cup race at Yonkers Racecourse in the USA, which is his best season so far.

Bengurion Jet is the second Italian horse in this year's Elitlopp field where twelve out of sixteen places are now filled. The field should be complete on Sunday May 19.

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 24-26, 2024. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial meet in a final where the winner receives five million SEK.
