He made history by becoming the first Irish horse to win a race in another European country - now we get to see him at Solvalla during the Elitlopp weekend.
Harry Knows has been awarded a wildcard for the Sweden Cup 2024.
- Ireland has produced a good horse in Harry Knows and it feels great to welcome him to Solvalla and the Sweden Cup. He showed in several starts last year in the US that he stood up well and I want him to have the chance to show himself with us, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.
Irish star Harry Knows has been named Horse of the Year in his home country in both 2021 and 2022. In 2023, he won races at both Meadowlands and Pocono Downs in the United States, notching up a record 1.09,4 over 1609 meters autostart. But it is mainly at home that the victories have lined up and so far the seven-year-old gelding has won 26 of his 43 races.
Harry Knows has won the Championship Gold Final in his home country and after last Friday's trip when he won a race in the Dutch town of Wolvega, he made history as the first trotting horse from Ireland to win a race in another European country. Now a new overseas adventure awaits the circle around the horse.
