The amateurs conclude this year's Elitlopps weekend.
The newly established Amateur Elite attracts representatives from five countries in the hunt for the first prize of 150,000 SEK.
- The goal is of course to present the amateurs' own Elitlopp, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.
In recent years, a driving match has been run between Sweden and France during the Elitlopp weekend, but now Solvalla is stepping up even further.
The race is run for drivers invited by Solvalla Amateur Club from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and France. Ten starters over 1,640 meters with a car start and 150,000 SEK to the winner.
Each country's federation will recommend their representatives for the race, but for Sweden, the duo representing blue and yellow at Solvalla is already ready: Hanna Lähdekorpi from Halmstad and Niclas Benzon from Årjäng.
- The race will be raised in terms of level, both in terms of drivers and horses and the Amateur Elite will be the amateurs' Elitlopp, says Anders Malmrot.
