Svensk Travsport's decision to invalidate all Propulsion starts in Sweden also means that the Elitlopp history is rewritten.
Propulsion has been a finalist in the Elitloppet since 2016, but Svensk Travsport's decision to invalidate the horse's starts in Sweden due to him being nerve-cut in the USA prior to import changes the Elitloppet's result. This year he was first over the finish line, but the winner of the Elitloppet 2020 will instead be Cokstile and Christoffer Eriksson.
The Swedish Trotting Federation is responsible for correcting the result lists, a work that has begun, and during December they will also regulate the financial part for the horse owners and breeders concerned. Result corrections will also apply to the trials for Elitloppet.
