Swedish Trotting and ATG have signed an agreement regarding sponsorship of trotting races. This means, among other things, that ATG will be the title sponsor of Elitloppet until 2022. In addition, ATG will continue to be the exclusive betting company sponsor of the Sprinter Champion at Halmstadtravet and the V75 Champions and Paralympic Race at Åbytravet. In addition, ATG will be given the right to increased exposure on 18 special days.
- It is very gratifying that the agreement is now in place. ATG is our largest partner and for us it is important that ATG continues to contribute to strengthening the experience at the racetrack. The agreement includes several parts where ATG enters as a sponsor at several levels at different tracks," says Maria Croon, CEO of Swedish Trotting.
The sponsorship agreement is a supplementary agreement to the more general basic agreement signed between Swedish Trotting and ATG. This sponsorship agreement clarifies the way in which ATG may work with exposure on race days.
- "It feels great that we have signed this important sponsorship agreement with the Swedish Trotting Federation, as always in sponsorship, the starting point is that all parties should benefit from the collaboration.For ATG, it's about being visible and at the same time contributing to an enhanced experience for our customers at the biggest trotting events," says Hasse Lord Skarplöth, CEO of ATG.
One change in the new sponsorship agreement compared to the one signed for 2019 is that ATG enters as title sponsor for Elitloppet at Solvalla.
- "For Solvalla, this is obviously a major and important agreement. I am very pleased that ATG is helping us to further enhance the Elitlopp weekend. Elitloppet is Sweden's largest trotting festival and therefore it is gratifying that Sweden's largest betting company is also a title sponsor, says Jörgen Forsberg, CEO of Solvalla.
The contract is signed until December 2022.
