Here is the plane that takes the European horses to Elitloppet

The Elitloppet is one of the world's biggest trotting races, where every year you get to see the world's best trotting horses. And if you're the best, you travel in style:
- We have chartered a Boeing 737-400," says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.

Solvalla has finalized the aircraft for the European horses in Elitloppet.

- "It's great that we have the airplane ready. We know that the elite racing public loves to see horses that are not otherwise seen at Swedish racecourses, so now we will make sure to fill the airplane with really interesting horses," says Anders Malmrot, Sports Director at Solvalla.

A Boeing 737-400 will depart from Liège to Arlanda on the morning of May 24. The return flight from Arlanda will take place on Monday morning, May 27.

The aircraft, chartered by Nordic Air Brokers and operated by ASL Airlines Belgium S.A., can accommodate up to 15 horses and nine grooms.

- "The fact that we have plenty of places for grooms feels really good. Many people travel perfectly well without their attendant, but for some it is important and it makes me happy that we can offer it, says Anders Malmrot.

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 24-26, 2019. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial will meet in a final where the winner will receive three million SEK.
