The boys settled first and there the favorite Even's Cool Boy got a tough trip outside the leader. That opened up for My Tambourine Man who was able to take his third straight victory together with his trainer in the sulky. The winning time was 1.13,0.
- I was happy when I saw the lap time, he didn't roll anything and it was an 11 time. He's done 16 times before so this will take him forward. It is incredibly gratifying to train horses like this," said Nicklas Westerholm, who is aiming for the biggest vintage races with his jumper.
- He'll have to show me how much he can handle, but it's clear that I have hopes of being in the biggest races with him.
In the stonas auction race, Roger Walmanns continued Aleppo Pine impress.
Kenneth Haugstad steered out in third and took the lead lap from the finish. Up To Me and Sefina tried to challenge on the run-up but never really came close and Aleppo Pine was able to secure the third victory of his career in the fourth start. The clock stopped at kilometer time 1.13,9.
- She has done everything right all the time and has never skipped a job. There has never been anything wrong with her. She is very comfortable in training, calm and nice. Then when we come here and you ask for a little bit, she responds to it. If she gets this race right, it will be E3 next," said the winning driver in the winner's circle.
