During the Elitlopp weekend, the world's best horses gather at Solvalla.
And in the audience area, it is being prepared for a public party, with an even larger serving area in 2023.
- "Elitloppet is something like the Super Bowl of trotting, where the party gets as much attention as the horse," says Solvalla's event manager Malin Karlsson.
In addition to the improved food and beverage offerings, the Elitlopp Terrace will be unveiled at the start of the race, which this year will be a dedicated spectator area open to all - with a gigantic balcony. In addition, a picnic terrace, elevated to better see all the action on the track, will be built for those who want to bring their own food and chairs.
- Even if you don't manage to get hold of any of the hotly sought-after restaurant tickets this weekend, there is every opportunity to experience the atmosphere, enjoy good food and an absolutely world-class experience, Malin Karlsson continues.
Here are all the serving areas in the public area during the Elitlopp weekend:
- Elitloppsterrassen - at the start of the riot, flatbread and pizetta are served on a large roofed terrace.
- The festival area - at the Spånga entrance, DJs play between the races and a wide range of food and drinks are offered.
- The backyard - at the entrance to the stable yard there is a street-inspired outdoor lounge with street food and drinks.
- Bubbles & Rosé - tapas, bubbles, rosé and other exciting beverages are served at the riot shack!
- Upploppet - along the Upploppet there is an open serving area of almost 4,000 square meters. Here you will find the Legends Bar, Strögets Veranda and the Toto Bar with a wide range of food and drinks.
- Picnic terrace - right at the edge of the bank at the start of the race, there is a built-up platform for guests with their own picnic.
