Conrad and Claes were also winners today

A couple of races were not included in the V75 coupon and were not included in the Sweden Cup. How it went in these races you will find out here.

The main task for Conrad Lugauer today was of course to guide the favorite in the Class II final, Breidablicks Cognac, in the pursuit of the fourth victory of his career, but it did not work out and ended in a thunderous gallop. Good for Conrad that he could still leave Solvalla with a win in the luggage, this after his Alegra B. won the four-year-old race for mares that preceded V75.
The point of the day was set Claes Sjöström when he jumped up behind the Gotlander who had been winless the last two seasons. The amateur-trained eight-year-old saved the outsiders and won at nearly 30 times the money. The owners and trainer were also delighted with the fine first prize of SEK 100,000, the most Final Oak had earned since finishing third in the Criterium (!) five years ago.

Entry to Solvalla tomorrow is at 08.45. Come prepared!
