The first horse is ready for Elitloppet 2020. Vivid Wise As earned his pink ticket after a confident victory in the French sprinter race Grand Criterium De Vitesse Nice-Matin run in Cagnes-Sur-Mer on Sunday afternoon.
Vivid Wise As got off to a quiet start, finishing first in second and then driving his way to the lead after half the race. From that position he looked unbeatable and won on light legs ahead of Earl Simon. The winning time was 1.09,7a.
- "He was super nice today and won with his feet saved. I think he will run very fast at Solvalla," says trainer and driver Alessandro Gocciadoro.
Vivid Wise As ran really fast today, but he was even faster this summer in the Group-II race Grand Prix Du Departement Des Alpes-Mari. That race also took place in Cagnes-Sur-Mer and it was then that he recorded his personal best of 1.08.6a, 1,609 meters.
- Vivid Wise As won last year at top time and has developed further this winter. Now he won riding and will be very interesting in Elitloppet, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 29-31, 2020. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial meet in a final where the winner receives three million SEK.
