The season has started with two straight victories and now the biggest task of his career awaits the five-year-old. Missle Hill is the sixth horse to be ready for the Elitloppet 2020 at Solvalla. - With his starting speed and sharp speed, he really belongs there, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.
Missle Hill, who started his career in the USA, came to Daniel Redén's stable at the end of 2018 and had a good year last year where, after a second place in his annual debut, he then took home the biggest victory of his career so far during the Elitlopp weekend at Solvalla - namely the Four-Year-Old Elite.
Missle Hill then went on to win two more races last year, including the Four-Year-Old Star at Gävletravet, and in total the season brought in almost SEK 1 million. The five-year-old stallion has continued to develop and the praise from trainer Daniel Redén is many - so that it was victory directly in the first start of the year in 2020 was not particularly surprising.
Missle Hill took home the Duke of Värmland, Prince Carl Philip's Jubilee Cup, in a fast 1.10,4 over a short distance - a victory worth a quarter of a million crowns that was followed up with a new first in Rättvik last Friday. Missle Hill then easily took the lead and once there, the race became a real show on the rainy Rättviksovalen. Missle Hill won by far with plenty of power left and is now the sixth horse to get a pink invitation to the Elitloppet at Solvalla on Sunday, May 31.
- He has taken another step this year and will be exciting to see on the last Sunday in May, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.

This year, the Elitlopp weekend will be organized without spectators. The spread of the new coronavirus has led to laws, regulations and directives that have resulted in Solvalla and other Swedish trotting tracks completely closing down their spectator facilities since March 12. In addition to this, a number of restrictions have been introduced around the stables. The racecourses are today a strict workplace where only people who perform a job have access.
