Unknown to many before his debut on Swedish soil - but all the more known afterwards and the fourth place in the final of the Paralympic race means that the next task will be Elitloppet 2021.
Gelati Cut is ready for the last Sunday in May.
- He showed qualities in the Paralympics that make him an exciting horse in Elitloppet," says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.

Five-year-old Gelati Cut has mostly competed in his home country of France, which is why he has been relatively unknown to the Swedish trotting public until his start in the final of the Paralympic race at Åbytravet. If you look at his previous results, we find his biggest victories from the last two years - where the victories in Prix Ovide Moulinet and Prix Robert Auvray in February and March this year with 45,000 euros in first prize are the two most prominent.
Having been drawn to a perfect second in his debut on Swedish soil, the circle around Gelati Cut breathed optimism ahead of the Paralympic final - but for many, the five-year-old was a difficult card to judge and Gelati Cut was not among the most trusted in the race. However, he showed the doubters that he was indeed up to the task. Despite a fast start to the race, he finished well in the end and the fourth place worth 150.000 SEK impressed many trot lovers, and especially Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.
In the previews, there has been talk of Harper Hanover's race during the Elitlopp weekend for Gelati Cut - but after receiving a pink ticket, it will now be Elitloppet 2021 instead. Gelati Cut is thus horse number thirteen to be ready for the last Sunday in May.
- He has convinced in the races at Vincennes and will be interesting to see in Elitloppet for the first time, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.
