The victory in HRH Prince Daniel's Race on Saturday meant a direct place for the last Sunday in May.

As usual, we were treated to an exciting race when Gävletravet arranged its V75 races on the Saturday before the Elitlopp weekend and most focus of course on HRH Prince Daniel's Race where a pink ticket and direct place to Elitloppet 2021 was at stake.
Ten teams were behind the starting car and it was finally Gareth Boko who won the race together with Magnus A Djuse after a very fast final round. They got a race in third outside and via third track the last 800 meters, they then sprinted past their competitors and finally landed on the victory time 1.09,6 over the Elitlopp distance 1609 meters with autostart.
The first prize was 400.000 SEK and the circle around Gareth Boko immediately chose to accept his place in Elitloppet 2021.
Gareth Boko, who started his racing career as a two-year-old and whose biggest victory comes from 2015 when he won the Swedish Breeders' Cup with SEK 1.4 million in first prize. As an eight-year-old, he now appears for the first time in Elitloppet and thus fifteen horses are ready for this year's edition and only one place remains.
