The first mare takes the very last place.
Bahia Quesnot is horse number sixteen to be ready for the last Sunday in May.
- She has been in all the biggest races and is really tough, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.
It will be the second time that Bahia Quesnot appears in Elitloppet at Solvalla. In 2019 she participated for the first time, but was then knocked out and missed the final and now makes a new attempt. Bahia Quesnot, who most recently comes from a third place behind the already Elitlopp-invited Cyber Lane in the Copenhagen Cup and who has once again had a successful winter in her home country of France.
In the Prix de Cornulier, the world's biggest monté race, she took the biggest victory of her career at the end of January, claiming the first prize of €315,000 and proving that she is a match for the world's best in recent years.
In addition to her victory in the Prix de Cornulier, her track record includes second places in the Oslo Grand Prix, the Paralympics, the European Championships for mares and the final of the Trotting Masters, and she has passed the amazing €1.5 million mark so far in her career.
Bahia Quesnot is horse number sixteen to receive a pink ticket, which means that this year's starting field is now nailed down and the trotting world is getting ready for Elitloppet 2021.
- Bahia Quesnot has been better than ever during the winter and spring and will add color to Elitloppet, says Solvalla's sports director Anders Malmrot.
