The victory in the final of the Paralympic race means straight to Elitloppet on home soil.
Who's Who is horse number twelve to be invited to the last Sunday in May.
- He was born a star and has grown to become one of our very best horses," says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.
The Derby win is the biggest triumph of Who's Who's career so far when he, like his sire Maharajah, won the Swedish Trotting Derby at Jägersro in 2018. The first prize was SEK 4 million and Who's Who won a new Swedish record, but the track record is long for the eight-year-old stallion.
In 2019 he won the Jubileumspokalen at Solvalla and in 2021 there were impressive wins in both Norrbottens Stora Pris in Boden and Hugo Åbergs Memorial at Jägersro, where the latter is the only occasion Who's Who has tried sprinting distance.
Last Saturday in the Paralympic race came the next big race victory, which was his fifth win with a seven-figure first prize during his career. From the lead, Who's Who had no problem slipping away to victory at Åbytravet and was rewarded with SEK 1.5 million.
In Saturday's V75 Direkt on TV4, Solvalla's sports director Anders Malmrot announced that Who's Who got a pink - thus twelve horses are invited to Elitloppet 2022.
- Who's Who won the Hugo Åbergs Memorial sprint race last year where he showed very good starting speed and he comes from an easy win in the final of the Paralympic race. Now we get to see him for the first time in Elitloppet, says Anders Malmrot.
