It feels amazing that we now have the chance to bring our horse to Sweden and compete - something we will talk about for the rest of our lives,\" says trainer Jess Tubbs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The eight-year-old gelding has won 18 races during his career and in 2022 he won the Australian Group I races Inter Dominion Trotting Championship Grand Final and Aldebaran Park Bill Collins Trotters Sprint. Usually with Greg Sugars in the saddle - and the Tubbs\/Sugars training pair have already celebrated major race victories in 2023 with their horse.<\/p>\n<p>In six starts this year, Just Believe has earned more than 274,000 Australian dollars through victories in the two Group I races Australian Trotting Grand Prix and the final of Great Southern Star - where the latter is the biggest victory of his career so far. Now the Elitloppet 2023 awaits at Solvalla on the last Sunday in May.<\/p>\n<p>Solvalla's sports director Anders Malmrot told Sunday's V75 Direkt on TV12 that it is now clear that Just Believe will make the long journey to Sweden. He will then be the third Elitlopps participant from Australia in the history of the race. The first was Sundons Gift in 2009 and the second was Maori Time in 2018. Neither of these qualified for the final, but Just Believe has his sights set on the third time in Elitloppet in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>- \"It's great to welcome Australia's best horse to Solvalla and Elitloppet 2023.
