The Elitloppet is a perfect fit for Hohneck,\" says trainer Philippe Allaire.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It will be the first time that Hohneck has come to Sweden, while trainer Philippe Allaire has enjoyed success at Solvalla before - last year his Callmethebreeze won the Four-Year-Old Elite and in 2016 Bird Parker won Harper Hanover's race, which he also did in a new world record. Allaire has competed as a driver once before, driving for his father in the Elitloppet in 1980, but this will be the first time he has brought a self-trained horse.<\/p>\n<p>Hohneck had his best season to date in 2022 where he raked in over \u20ac600,000 with wins in five of sixteen starts and then jumping back to 2021 we find the biggest win of his career - Crit\u00e9rium Continental with \u20ac90,000 in first prize.<\/p>\n<p>Hohneck has just started in the Prix de l'Atlantique at Enghiens trotting track where he did a good performance and finished third behind already invited Etonnant and Go On Boy and after that performance, Hohneck now appears for the first time in the Elitloppet at Solvalla.<\/p>\n<p>This was announced by Solvalla's sports director Anders Malmrot in V75 Direkt on TV4 on Saturday and a total of nine horses have now received a pink ticket for this year's edition of Elitloppet.<\/p>\n<p>- Hohneck is one of France's best horses and also undefeated over 1609 meters. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each.
