As in previous years, a place among the sixteen awaited the winner of HRH Prince Daniel's race at G\u00e4vletravet. Yesterday's race was a fast-paced edition where Usain T\u00f6ll was the betting favorite and he also looked very strong in the final turn despite a tough race. But then came that disappointing gallop towards the finish and ruined the day for Usain T\u00f6ll.<\/p>\n

However, he will get the chance in Elitloppet anyway - on Sunday, Solvalla's sports director Anders Malmrot announced that Usain T\u00f6ll will get a pink ticket and can thus make his debut in the Elitlopp context. Usain T\u00f6ll's biggest victory is from the Prix Jean Ren\u00e9 Gougeon 2022 at Vincennes racetrack in France and at home in Italy he also won Premio Duomo last year. The Elitlopp crowd at Solvalla has seen Usain T\u00f6ll win twice before - when he won the Apprentice Elite in 2021 and then last year when he won a trial race for the Sweden Cup.<\/p>\n

- Usain T\u00f6ll has made several strong efforts both in France and Italy and also yesterday when he galloped away with the victory in G\u00e4vle towards the finish. He is very fast and will be driven by the French top driver Alexandre Abrivard, says Anders Malmrot.<\/p>\n

Now only one place remains for Elitloppet 2023 and it is presented today, Sunday, May 21, in TV12 just after 17.00. The draw for the two trials of Elitloppet 2023 will then take place on the same channel at 17.30.<\/p>\n

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 26-28, 2023.
