The Best Ofdream Trio has received a pink ticket and thus the starting field is complete for Elitloppet 2023.
- The first time I saw Elitloppet was in 1973 when Ego Boy won and I have never been close to having my own horse. Elitloppet is the biggest for a small Norwegian trainer and Best Ofdream Trio has both the strength and speed to be there. We are very happy for the invitation, says trainer Erik Killingmo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Best Ofdream Trio was already talked about as a possible candidate last year after being second in the Duke of V\u00e4rmland, Prince Carl Philips Jubileumspokal, behind San Moteur. There was no Elitlopp start then, but before the year was over, he had won Anders Jahres Pokall\u00f6p and was noted for a fourth place in \u00c5bys Stora Pris.<\/p>\n

In total, over SEK 1.1 million was earned in 2022, but after a problem-filled winter, it took a while for the annual debut of Best Ofdream Trio, who had not been seen for almost six months when he made his annual debut at Biri Travbana in mid-May. Best Ofdream Trio sprinted away to an easy victory in his comeback on resilient legs and after that impression it will be him who takes the last place for Elitloppet 2023.<\/p>\n

In TV12, Solvalla's sports director Anders Malmrot just presented Best Ofdream Trio as the last Elitlopp horse and now there is only a short time left before the two trials will be drawn for Elitloppet 2023. The draw takes place at 17.30 in TV 12.<\/p>\n

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 26-28, 2023. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial meet in a final where the winner receives five million SEK.<\/p>\n
