Trained by a retired after-school teacher, driven by a demolition worker, and loved by the general public.<\/strong><br><strong>- I've been dreaming about Elitloppet since we went home last year. This is something so few people get to experience,\" says Elisabeth Almheden.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n<section class=\"content-block content-block--core content-block--paragraph\"><div class=\"container-fluid\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The brothers A Fair Day and Maroon Day have delighted the trotting public for several years. Both are trained by the Kalmar amateur Elisabeth Almheden, whose favorites in the stable go by the nicknames \u201dAffe\u201d and \u201dRooney\u201d.<br>- \u201dAffe\u201d was the best all-Swedish team in Elitloppet last year with his fourth place. My opinion is that he has had a level increase to 2026 and his pink ticket feels obvious, says Solvalla's sports manager Ola Lern\u00e5.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n<section class=\"content-block content-block--core content-block--paragraph\"><div class=\"container-fluid\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"col-12\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Fair Day was fourth in the C Th Ericsson Memorial at Solvalla last weekend.<br>- He is the people's horse, and it is a joy to follow him - and his followers - around trotting Sweden. We will start in Orebro Intn'l and then in Tingsryd, it is close to hand for us in Kalmar.
