But the focus throughout the winter has been on Elitloppet on the last Sunday in May.<br><\/strong><br>- He looked a bit heavy in his initial starts this winter, but made a top race in Cagnes Sur Mer as third and of course he should have the chance to defend his title in Elitloppet, says Solvalla's sports director Ola Lern\u00e5.<br>Go On Boy has been second in the Prix de Bourgogne as well as the Prix de France and most recently he held up brilliantly after a heavy trip in Sunday's Grand Criterium de Vitesse where he finished in 1.09,0.<br>- I was very happy with the horse who has improved with every start. My focus has been on the Elitloppet for a long time and I will give him another race before then,\" says Romain Derieux.<br><br>This is Go On Boy's fourth appearance in the Elitloppet, he won in 2025 and was second in 2023. Go On Boy has also won the UET Elite Circuit Final and been second in the Prix d'Am\u00e9rique. With a cool \u20ac2.7 million earned, he is now the eleventh highest earning French-bred trotter of all time. And Go On Boy continues to climb that list. He also tops the 2026 UET Grand Circuit after four races.<br>- Go On Boy was invited first of all last year as well. I see that as a good omen! Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two trials of eight horses each.
