Don Fanucci Zet is the second horse to be ready for Elitloppet in 2021.
- A very exciting horse that I am convinced will be a factor in this year's edition, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.

Don Fanucci Zet had a brilliant year last year as a four-year-old and showed that he belonged to the top of the litter. Second place in the Swedish Trotting Derby was rewarded with two million SEK, but the highlight came in early July at Halmstadtravet. Don Fanucci Zet showed that he was the best in the litter, over the Elitlopp distance of 1609 meters, when he took home the Sprinter Champion for the four-year-old horses. After jogging home the trial race, it was a thrilling final - where Don Fanucci Zet was the winner in the end. A win that was rewarded with 1.2 million SEK and now it is once again time to start twice on the same day as Don Fanucci Zet is ready for the last Sunday in May and the second horse to get a pink ticket.

Ahead of this year's season, he has been one of the big talking points and the five-year-old has been held by many as trainer Daniel Redén's sharpest card. After the victory in the last start where he sprinted away in a fast finish, Don Fanucci Zet is now invited to Elitloppet 2021.

- He developed enormously last year and showed a tremendous talent, so it will be very fun to see him in Elitloppet, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.

Facts Don Fanucci Zet

Age: 5 years
Gender: Stallion
color: Hard Livin
MotherKissed By The West
Starter/Result: 19 (11-4-2)
Earned5 088 500 SEK
record: 1.09,6 autostart (1609m)
Owner: Zet Stable (Daniel Redén)
Trainer: Daniel Redén
Attendant: Ellinor Wennebring
Breeder: Brixton Medical AB (Daniel Redén)
Nationality: Swedish

About the Elitlopet

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 28-30, 2021.
