The top-seeded duo start from completely different starting positions in Elitloppet 2021 at Solvalla.<\/strong>
Joy in the Italian camp while one of the Swedish favorites drew the draw.<\/strong>
Vivid Wise As got track one - Very Kronos was drawn for track eight.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Italian Vivid Wise As comes to Solvalla to take revenge after the gallop failure in the Elitloppet 2020 where he was the favorite. After being drawn to the inside track in the first Elitlopp attempt, he will have the confidence of many in the Elitloppet 2021 and be among the favorites when the sixteen invited horses will settle at Solvalla.
Swedish Very Kronos, on the other hand, will have a much tougher task - track eight at the far end behind the starting car wing was for Very Kronos, who was top seeded of the Swedish favorites. A subdued driver talked about his feelings on TV12 when the draw was made.
- It was a nausea that came over you when track eight was pulled forward, but when the starting car rolls on Sunday, I know that I sit behind a horse with the qualities required for Elitloppet, said Erik Adielsson, who is the one who will drive Very Kronos in this year's edition.
Erik Adielsson has run Elitlopp trials several times before - but in 2021, it's both a bunch of horses and drivers who show up for the very first time.
Young brothers Magnus and Mats Djuse will make their debut in the big race and will both drive for trainer Jerry Riordan who has Aetos Kronos and Gareth Boko in this year's Elitlopp. Home profile Claes Sj\u00f6str\u00f6m will ride his first Elitlopp together with the horse Seismic Wave, as well as Italian driver Vincenzo Gallo who comes to Solvalla.
With the latter sitting up behind defending champion Cokstile who won the Elitloppet in 2020 - now Cokstile is back to defend his title and was drawn to track one in his attempt. Which means that both Italian participants drew inside tracks, while several of the Swedish favorites would also have wished for better starting positions and many trotting lovers have already started talking about who wins and how open it looks after the track draw.<\/p>\n

In other words, the stage is set for a very exciting Elitloppet 2021 at Solvalla, the last Sunday in May.<\/p>\n

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 28-30, 2021. Elitloppet is an invitation race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial meet in a final where the winner receives three million SEK.<\/p>\n
