He was in the conversation for the sixteen places last year - this will be the first time we see him in Elitloppet.
Brother Bill is ready for the last Sunday in May.
- He stood out already as a three-year-old and has always shown capacity a little beyond the ordinary. After his huge sprint in \u00d6rebro last time, he should of course have one of the places in this year's edition, says Solvalla's sports manager Anders Malmrot.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brother Bill started his career with a victory and has always belonged to the top of the litter. As a three-year-old, he finished second in the final of the Swedish Trotting Criterium behind Power, which brought in SEK 2 million, and he then ended the year on top by taking home the final of the Breeders' Crown in Eskilstuna. The first prize there was SEK 1.6 million, which is the biggest victory of his career so far and the 2019 season is also his best so far - but Brother Bill has continued to perform well in recent years.<\/p>\n

As a four-year-old, he finished second behind Hail Mary in the final of the Breeders' Crown in 2020 and in 2021 he won, for example, both Henning M\u00e5rthans Minne in R\u00e4ttvik and King Carl XVI Gustaf's Silver Horse at Solvalla.<\/p>\n

Brother Bill galloped away in the first start of the year, but in the second we saw a very good finish from his side where he was not far behind the winner and already Elitlopp-invited \u00d6nas Prince at the finish - an effort that means that it will now almost be the debut in Elitloppet for the six-year-old.<\/p>\n

In V75 Direkt on TV12 on Saturday, Solvalla's sporting director Anders Malmrot announced that Brother Bill is horse number 13 in the Elitloppet 2022.<\/p>\n

- He's not entirely reliable, but when he works he's very good and Brother Bill is an exciting horse to have around,\" says Anders Malmrot.<\/p>\n

Elitloppet is the main attraction during the Elitlopp weekend, which will be held at Solvalla in Stockholm on May 27-29, 2022. Elitloppet is an invitational race where 16 horses compete in two different trials with eight horses in each. The top four in each trial meet in a final where the winner receives five million SEK.<\/p>\n
