About Nordisk Elitkamp, Gävleborgs Elitkamp, Elitkampen, Jim Frick's race. As we all know, the race has many names and has become a real highlight during the Elitloppet weekend.

The cold-blooded breed's speed festival has offered fantastic performances, excitement and not least entertainment!

Like when Arve Gudbrand Blihovde was victorious riding (!) on Atom Vinter's back, Viesker's victory, Vitter's course record and of course Järvsöfak's dominance in the early 2000s.

Elitkampen has been running since its premiere in 1986 at Solvalla in connection with Elitloppet and two horses have taken five consecutive victories; Finnish superstar Viesker and Swedish coldblood phenomenon Järvsöfaks - both have as breeding stallions also left winners of Elitkampen!

In 2022, Elitkampen Jim Fricks Lopp received a further boost when the winner for the first time ever received one million SEK in a Swedish cold-blooded race.
